At GOVERNANCE.COM, you'll play a pivotal role in improving our product by testing features and implementing test automations. We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled QA Engineer to join our growing team. Your responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on project specifications.

• Execute manual testing processes to ensure the functionality, usability, and compatibility of software applications.

• Develop and implement automated test scripts to improve efficiency and test coverage. Experience with tools such as Selenium or Cypress is a plus.

• Conduct thorough regression testing to validate that new features and bug fixes do not adversely impact existing functionality.

• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

• Conduct performance testing to evaluate the speed, responsiveness, and stability of applications under various conditions.

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a high level of software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

• Comply with product roadmap, sprint plans and industry standards


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.

• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

• Familiarity with both manual and automated testing approaches.

• Experience with testing web applications.

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Familiarity with Docker

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
