Job Description

Are you popular among your friends because you have a solution to each of their problems? Have you ever thought about creating your own MacGyver TVshow just to showcase your genius talent to solve impossible situations? If yes, this may be the job for you!

This is a newly created position for an open and curious all-in-one helpdesk and facilities hero who will support our amazing internal IT & Facilities team in our brand new HQ in Belval, Luxembourg.

Scope of work:

  • Serve as first point of contact for employees requiring IT support over the phone, email, remotely or in person for the resolution of software, hardware, network or facility issues (yes, sometimes we forget our access cards  ).

  • Configure, install and manage desktop systems, printers, mobile devices and other peripherals, ensuring users have full functionality day-to-day.

  • Analyse requests and work with other departments to help determine their business needs in terms of IT and facilities.

  • Setting up meeting rooms including AV equipment and furniture.

  • Assist with staff desk moves and setup, and carry out minor office repairs when required.

  • Monitoring, ordering and controlling the stock of IT office supplies furniture, and organise recycling of redundant equipment.

  • Update and maintain documentation, policies and inventories, and suggest improvement.

  • Additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

Your profile:

  • You like to help, so you don’t mind stepping in when it comes to internal IT tasks in the office… or when the coffee machine tries to communicate with you (yes, we are a start-up).

  • You are a natural born problem solver, with strong interpersonal and communication skills (you are a social and friendly human being, with a good sense of humour, which makes people feel happy even if you just crashed their computer).

  • You are optimistic and reliable with a can-do attitute

  • You enjoy working with your team but also autonomously when required.

  • You are willing to tackle a variety of duties and to learn new skills.

  • You are fluent in English. If you speak a bit of French, that’s also nice but not a must.

You get bonus points if you have the following:

  • High School degree with technical orientation.

  • A first experience as helpdesk assistant or in a customer/service center.

  • Familiarity with IT and infrastructure tasks.

  • Enjoy a good beer
