Responsibilities:
Become a key collaborator to the HoST’s team and contribute to its mission to federate and promote Luxembourg’s startup ecosystem. To do so, we are looking for an experienced communicator with a sense of creativity and diplomacy who knows how to hit the KPIs while being ready to adapt when opportunities arise.
In other words, you will:
- Position the House of Startups Luxembourg as the central innovation hub of Luxembourg's thriving startup ecosystem
- Lead or support the communication and promotion of both internal and external projects aligned with HoST's mission: Podcasts, hackathons, ecosystem events, and other initiatives that align with the House of Startups' mission
- Ensure effective communication across HoST's channels and platforms, including social media and the website
- Establish and cultivate relationships with existing and potential partners within Luxembourg's startup ecosystem
- Participate in local and international fairs to represent HoST and facilitate on-site communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for press and media inquiries
- Represent HoST at various ecosystem events and create opportunities to strengthen the national Startup & Innovation ecosystem
- Collaborate closely with the Chamber of Commerce's communication team
Person specification and Required skills:
The successful candidate will need to:
- Hold a BTS, bachelor's, or master's degree in Communication, Digital Marketing, Business Management, or Entrepreneurship
- The ideal candidate should demonstrate professional experience in communication, marketing, management, or business development, preferably with a track record of at least 5 years
- The candidate should be adaptable and comfortable in an ever-changing environment, displaying a keen interest in the growth and success of Luxembourg's startup ecosystem
- Have a good understanding of the startup mindset and familiarity with Luxembourg and European startup ecosystems, as well as the missions of the Chamber of Commerce and HoST
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French
- Be well-organized, capable of working independently, and comfortable collaborating within transversal project teams
- Be a real team player with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Be proficient with MS Office, familiar with CRM systems, and adaptable to new technologies
The following elements are considered as a strong add-on to your application:
- Possess expertise in Adobe Creative Suite for content creation and editing: the candidate should demonstrate proficiency in using tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro to create and edit content.
- Showcase photography expertise for compelling social media and event imagery
- Demonstrate a creative flair for branding and visual identity
