Job Description

Overview

We are looking for a talented, qualified and tech-savvy Community Manager to join our team and administer our social media accounts. The role requires hands-on experience in social media, PR, online content creation and community management. The core mission of the job is to significantly grow brand awareness and increase online presence.

Core responsibilities

  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals

  • Plan and monitor brand presence on social media

  • Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.)

  • Provide engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts

  • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews

  • Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness

  • Coordinate with Marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency

  • Liaise with Development and Sales departments to stay updated on new products and features

  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends

  • Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails

  • Collaborate with visual designers to improve user experience

  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)

  • Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors

  • Monitor and plan social media budget

  • Build engagement and animate the community in different countries and adapt content based on the target audience

  • Perform annual benchmarking and recommendations

  • Develop partnerships with influencers based on business needs

Must-have requirements

  • 3+ years experience as a Community Manager with proven track record of successful engagement campaigns

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in French and English

  • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)

  • Ability to develop engaging content (please provide portfolio)

  • A good deal of creativity and open mindset

  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices

  • In-depth knowledge of Google Adwords, email marketing and SEO/SEM

  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics

  • Hands-on experience with social media management for brands

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills

  • Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver

  • Strong ability to deal with conflicting and multiple deadlines

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with B2C and B2B social media is a plus

  • German and/or Dutch language skills

  • Experience with online adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook
