Active in Luxembourg and the Greater Region for more than 25 years, Luxfactory manages for its clients all implementation projects in 4 areas: IT and digitalization, renewable energies, strategy and digital marketing. ★

For our customer, based in Luxembourg, we are looking for an experienced Data Architect.

The goal of the department is to have all the information and analysis at a click of a button in order to streamline decision-making and enhance efficiency across the organization. By ensuring that all relevant data is readily available, team members can quickly and easily access the information they need to make informed decisions and take action.

You will have the opportunity to work closely together with the business line leads, product managers, data scientists and development teams to ensure that data is properly integrated into business processes and applications, and that data-driven insights are effectively translated into actionable strategies and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Data Engineers and software developer and work side by side with an exceptional team of Data Scientists.
• Focus on developing and enhancing a datalake, data warehouse, and SSAS cubes.
• Create innovative solutions to process both structured and unstructured data sources
• To identify required fields needed in reporting, by discussing with application management, key users, or business owners.
• Diagnose and offer solutions for upload execution issues.
• Create and execute queries upon request for data.
• Develop and update technical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technologies or a related field.
• At least 6+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Database Developing.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Very good command of T-SQL.
• Knowledge on Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience working with unstructured data and ETL processes.
• Knowledgeable in a programming language (preferably C# or Python).
• Strong analytical and investigative skills, combined with a strong service orientation.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Eager to learn, team spirit, initiative, and autonomous way of working.
