Legal Counsel (m/f)

Who We Are

Next Gate Tech is a Luxembourg based data management-as-a-service and analytics company that provides smart automated solutions for the Asset Management Industry. Leveraging the rapid emergence of cloud based computing frameworks, we are looking to add a skilled Legal Counsel to provide legal guidance and support to our company operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate law, intellectual property law, and contracts. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about the law and eager to make a significant impact in a growing startup.

What You Will Do

• Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of issues, including corporate governance, employment law, intellectual property, and contracts
• Work closely with our legal advisors firm to ensure that our company is fully compliant with all relevant laws and regulations
• Draft and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and partners, and ensure that all legal agreements are in compliance with the company's policies, procedures, and initiatives
• Participate in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures
• Advise on legal risks associated with business transactions and provide guidance on how to minimize those risks
• Assist in the management of litigation and disputes, including the selection and management of outside counsel

What YOU will bring to the team

• EU Law, Economics and / or Tax university degree
• Experience in a startup or high-growth company environment is preferred
• 1+ year of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on corporate law, contracts and preferably intellectual property
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
