BI Data Management Expert (m/f)

Task Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the IT Architecture team to implement and use the data governance and design models.

• Manage different data streams from internal and external sources.

• Create the required ETL from the different data sources based on business requirements.

• Create data models and designs.

• Contribute to ongoing, soon-to-be-completed and future projects.

• Propose ideas to improve and develop the use of Azure components.

• Process data in Azure and/or SAP BW/4HANA.

Essential Requirements For The Position:

• Master’s degree in Business Intelligence or in IT engineering; Data Management or equivalent.

• 3 years of experience in Azure Synapse Analytics (mandatory), data management, aggregation and integration, data lakes.

• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory ETL tool.

• Very good understanding of architecture and data security concepts.

• Experience in SAP BW/4HANA data warehouse and SAC4HANA reporting system will be an asset.

• Solid experience in T-SQL and SQL scripting.

• Strong interpersonal skills when it comes to teamwork, communication and ability to work in an international environment.

• Collaborative mindset – you enjoy sharing knowledge and succeeding as a team

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple, competing priorities.

• Fluency in English; knowledge of any other language is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Full time & permanent contract in a dynamic BI team.

• A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of a positive selection.

• Position based in the Cargolux HQ in Luxembourg.

• Standard office hours are to be expected (Monday - Friday). Extended hours occasionally required for specific support or maintenance.
