Team

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join the brands sourcing team! Our Business Development Representatives will gain hands-on experience with prospecting potential brands and building relationships to help increase their ecommerce presence with Gonuggets.

Scope

As a Business Development representative, you will be owning DNVBs sourcing and building scalable processes that will enable Gonuggets to find the right brands to partner with, this covers:

  • Prospect, educate, and qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunities.
  • Achieve both individual and team goals by reaching or exceeding performance metrics on calls, meetings, and sales.
  • Call, e-mail and set meetings with targeted vendors
  • Become proficient and utilise tools including HubSpot (CRM), LinkedIn, and paid lead software to find proper contact information.
  • Must be organised, detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable making a high number of phone calls per day by being self-motivated, driven to meet call metrics.
  • Must be persistent, taking extra time to confirm lead information to maximise the accuracy of the lead.
  • Can work under pressure, prioritise initiatives, and juggle conversations simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience in sales or business development
  • Ideally, a strong track-record of converting B2B leads to customers
  • Experience in an analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction
  • Experience with e-commerce or offline retail would be an advantage
  • Experience selling nascent products/services into new markets

What would make you stand out

  • Fluency in one or several of the following languages: German, French, Spanish, Italian
  • Previous start-up experience
  • Passionate about e-commerce
