About SPiN
SPiN is a leading provider of modularity solutions for the space sector, offering satellite integration solutions to transform satellites to modular systems, empowering satellite manufacturers to spend high-value time and money where it counts: pursuing new ventures. In addition to MA61C, an intelligent plug and play data node to integrate satellite components off the shelf without user intervention, SPiN provides a service to design satellites in a flexible concept using model based system engineering methodology. In 2022, SPiN launched its first CubeSat to demonstrate its technology in orbit, and opened three more subsidiaries in Italy, the United Kingdom and Luxembourg. Founded in 2015, SPiN is a Techstars portfolio company, more information about MA61C can be found at http://www.spinintech.com/ .
Space exploration is the ultimate frontier to discover new scientific and technical limits, however Inefficient designs, long lead times, and incompatible components restrict access to space for incumbent and new satellite manufacturers alike.
SPiN provides high quality and innovative space manufacturing solutions at affordable prices, democratising access to space for space ventures and their clients.
SPiN offers Modularity as a service, selling satellite integration solutions based on system engineering methodology and an affordable compact, intelligent and plug and play data node adapter, the Multipurpose Adapter Generic Interface Adapter, MA61C
The MA61C adapter eases the MAIT process and provides a friendly interface directly to the sub-system during assembly and integration of the satellite. MA61C transforms satellites to modular systems, reducing design costs by 50%, production costs by 30%, and integration time by a year for spacecraft manufacturers.
