We are looking for

As a member of Travelsify’s engineering team, you will be working with innovative technologies in the fields of explainable artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, and
recommender systems.

Your teammates are international hands-on specialists from different fields and backgrounds fostering a friendly but also demanding startup culture.

Must-have skills

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• Working experience with object-oriented programming in Java

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, including the corresponding JSON and XML formats

• Ability to work in a small, intense, and international start-up environment

• Understand architecture principles and communication protocols

• Be aware and able to build fast/low-latency code, especially APIs

• Motivated to test code (unit tests, system tests, etc.) and apply continuous integration/continuous delivery

• Have worked with large amounts of data through databases and/or search-engines

• Willingness to document and write smart and clever code

• Be curious, autonomous, and rigorous about your work and be an avid learner

• Source code management (git)

• Structured and design-oriented way of thinking

• Speak and write English fluently

Nice-to-have skills

• Proficient in using Java 11 along with the Spring framework (mainly Boot, Data, Web)

• Worked with HA/cluster solutions and/or cache and distribution systems

• Experience with cloud services (especially AWS)

• Security: best practices on how to secure and monitor API integrity

• Knowledge of Linux servers and other programming languages
