At the genesis of Space Time is Shahriar Agaajani, a scientific and entrepreneur envisioning new ways to bring the full benefits from digitalization to the construction industry. Space Time has been set-up has a company targeting solutions for real estate developers hoping for a quantum leap on their projects outcome.

We develop technologies aimed at capturing, securing, analyzing & sharing data about the reality of construction projects (actual construction vs planned construction), and the environment in general.

• Digital twins of their properties under progress where they can evolve remotely in 4 dimensions within space and time
• Big data intelligence and automated analysis bringing key insights for value-added decision making
• Reporting tools facilitating communication and interactions between all stakeholders of a project.

As of today, we are looking for a Robotics Engineer to work with dog robots, flying drones … and potentially other future « animals part of our zoo ».

About your role

As a Robotics Engineer, you will be an active member of our team and you will have the opportunity to :

• Configure, test and debug robots and robotic systems
• Install, operate, calibrate and maintain robots
• Ensure that robotic machines operate safely, dependably and with precision
• Identify and implement modifications
• Work closely with other engineers as part of a team of experts in implementation of robotics solutions
• Investigate and solve state-of-art robotics challenges
• Contribute new ideas to the development of robotics systems, sensors and their applications
• Contribute to system controllers, motion planners and collision detection frameworks
• Integrate prototypes and demonstrators of innovative robotic solutions
• Build and share a deep technical understanding of robotic solutions
• Travel occasionally to customer sites
• Be part of a great and innovated team.

In order to fulfill your mission, you should be able to demonstrate the following experience, skills and qualities :

• BSc/BA/Master in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• Preferably, hands-on experience with robotic arms and mobile robots
• Knowledge of Python, Matlab, R, SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an asset
• Experience and/or understanding in architecting, designing and selecting robotic systems
• Well-versed in computer science, applied physics and mechanics
• Ability to develop and evaluate integrated systems
• Analytical mind & problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Be a reliable fellow with a strong team mindset
• Be eager to learn and develop yourself
• Proficient in French and/or English; any other language will be considered as an advantage.
