Purpose of the job

We're looking for a talented and experienced project manager / scrum master to manage the organization of our technical teams. You’ll lead and manage the delivery of multiple complex features and technical projects on time and on budget with the highest possible quality standards.


As a project manager you’ll be the driving force for ensuring the project management processes are understood and implemented. Working in close collaboration with the Chief Product Officer and the technical teams, you’ll be responsible for coaching the teams to self-organize and create high-value features, remove impediments, measure and report on their progress. 


You’ll use your strong interpersonal skills to identify and engage with project stakeholders, escalate issues and drive discussions to a resolution point. You will help manage the internal communications to ensure all involved parties are consulted or informed at an appropriate level.


This role is a senior, tech-savvy, highly skilled and experienced member of the company and, as such, you’ll be expected with time to take on additional responsibilities beyond the scope of your day to day job. These will be agreed on an individual basis.


Main responsibilities

  • Managing the end-to-end delivery of complex product features and technical projects, establishing and controlling project boundaries (e.g. scope, quality, time and cost).
  • Managing relationships and communication with all project stakeholders. Drive discussion around delivery approach across multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Leading and coaching the technical teams as deemed appropriate and according to the needs of the individual projects.
  • Document everything. Ensure that the user stories are provided, that the tickets are sufficiently detailed, that the definition of done is provided, that there are no gray areas. Maintain the project's RACI matrix.
  • Ensure that the scrum team adheres to scrum theory, practices and rules, and work as a servant leader within the project team.
  • Providing clear ownership for and visibility of the resolution of all project risks and escalated issues. Maintain escalated issues and risk registers.  
  • Lead improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of the project delivery service and contribute to the identification of areas of improvement.  
  • Ensuring the decisions made on project approach are documented and comply with our SOC 2 and ISO27001 policies.
  • Supporting overall management of the development team. Providing regular, constructive feedback to project team members and their line managers. 
  • Providing progress updates to the stakeholders. Being proactive, flagging and explaining the reasons behind possible delays.
  • Develop and maintain effective and proactive relationships with all customers including suppliers and third parties.
  • Support the Product Team in maintaining and developing processes, standards, tools and reporting and their documentation and proactively reviewing the service provided to end-users and customers.

Skills required / qualifications

  • Experienced and certified Scrum Master, with exposure to at least another project framework such as Lean, Kanban, Prince II, PMBOK.


  • Minimum 3+ years experience in project or product management on technical or IT projects.
  • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
  • Experience of working in an international environment with a culturally diverse user community. Very strong interpersonal skills including facilitation and coaching and being able to lead and influence others.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written and preferably one other language.


  • Enthusiastic, driven, self-motivated with an obsession of shippable results. Committed to the development of all team members and continuous development of capability within the department  


  • Able to work independently, excellent personal organisation and able to demonstrate consistently balanced good judgement and logical thought prioritisation.


  • Experience in technologies and policies relevant to web projects. Experience in open source or cybersecurity projects would be a huge plus.
