To lead the electronics and software development of our ScienceTaxi microgravity facility. This includes the specification, analysis and design of the electronic systems and software architecture. You will be the key point of contact for customers and subcontractors.
- Analysis of state-of-the-art technologies and innovative solutions for ScienceTaxi facility
- Design, Development and Verification Plan for first customer review in December
- BreadBoards to support Preliminary Design Review (PDR)
- Ensure smooth cooperation and collaboration with selected Sub-Contractor
- Preferred: Ambition to set up and lead the yuri Electronics and SW team in Luxembourg and Germany
Important tasks to achieve these goals:
- Specification, design and analysis of electronic systems including software architecture for manned and unmanned spaceflight (all development phases A to F)
- Implement state-of-the-art technologies and continuously search for new innovative solutions
- Close cooperation with agencies (ESA, LSA, NASA etc.) and supervision of subcontractors
- Close collaboration with interfacing engineering disciplines
- Assembly, Integration and Testing (AIT) on (sub-)system level
- Documentation: design reports, test procedures, etc. (ideally acc. ECSS and MIL-STD norms)
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- provide an engineering degree in electrical-, mechatronics engineering or similar with at least 3 years of experience
- have programming skills in C++, Java, Python (or similar)
- have strong knowledge in low voltage power electronics
- provide knowledge of agile software development (e.g. SCRUM)
- are experienced with MS Office
- are a team player with communication skills, supportive, well organized and have an independent way of working
- fluently speak and write in English and ideally good in German and/or French
- self-motivated and proactive
- takes full ownership
