Job Description


We are looking for a business development senior associate who will assist in sales and business development activities around KYC, Payments and other digitisation/API/UX projects for the financial industry in a fast paced environment and a growing organization. Working directly with the Head of Business Development, this is your chance to join one of Luxembourg’s leading FinTech players in a key role within the commercial team, closely
collaborating with Product development and Marketing teams.

With us you will…

  • Assist the Head of Business Development with developing sales plans and key selling initiatives to drive growth of the Finologee brand & products
  • Grow sales volume for Finologee products by assisting in developing business with new customers and identifying business expansion opportunities with existing accounts
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with customers and partners
  • Assist in Strategic Planning and drive key initiatives for Sales functions
  • Identify and implement customer-specific strategies that are beneficial to the business, leveraging both internal & external data
  • Collaborate and follow-up with the delivery team to ensure the successful delivery of the projects
  • Work closely with the other departments of the organization to ensure sales plans are supported and executed in a way that delivers best in class customer experience
  • Collaborate with sales leadership on key customer initiatives, such as account managementcommercial communicationreporting optimization
  • Develop and prepare presentations and pitches for the Sales Leadership Team for both internal and external use

 What we expect from you…

  • Having at least 3 years relevant experience, typically in the financial industry (Private Banking, Asset servicing, Fund management) or within a professional services firm (Consulting firm)
  • Being familiar with sales process, sales management, and strategic account management
  • A demonstrated understanding in KYC processes/AML regulation, bank payments/PSD2, e-payments, e-Signature products and/or other digital tools, automation processes, interfaces and APIs/microservices
  • Technical understanding of modern IT architectures, applications, APIs (but no programming skills required)
  • Ability to demonstrate creativestrategic, and highly organized thinking
  • strong team spirit and a pragmatic mindset
  • Fluency in both English and French (you need to be able to conduct client and internal meetings in both languages)
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • strong command of ExcelWord and PowerPoint
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced start-up company
  • Master’s degree in related field (i.e., business)
