PingPong Europe’s core department is seeking a Financial & Operational Analyst. You will start as an analyst, but you will evolve very quickly in only a few years. You can develop your career in Luxembourg and even in the entire PingPong world. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will focus on both performing cross-border transaction and support corporate finance. The main responsibilities of the position include:

  • Work closely with our global team to execute cross‐border transactions and manage the transaction in Europe local clearing schema;
  • Coordinate closely with other functions including IT, business development, compliance, and customer service to investigate daily transaction queries;
  • Be one of core contact with banking partner and internal team to set up the new payment channel or payment service;
  • Reconcile bank transactions with financial data as the first-line control and be able to optimize the process;
  • Other ad hoc finance function, including accounting journal, regular reporting, taxation administration and expense processing;

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

  • 4‐years university degree or above in accounting, finance, or other relevant fields is required;
  • 2 - 5 years of previous working experiences in accounting, finance, operation or other related area are needed;
  • Experiences from operation in finance institution, the auditor of Big 4 firms, accounting from corporate or finance from payment companies, are highly preferred;
  • ACCA (part qualified or fully qualified), CPA, CFA, FRM, ACAMS or other professional qualification would be a plus.

Skills and Capabilities

  • Business fluency in both English and Chinese is required; skill in French/German is a strong plus;
  • Mature written and spoken skills for close liaison with other functions in the office. Communication skills for the remote working environment are essential;
  • Quick learner and can-do attitude in a business growing exponentially;
  • Self-starter managing a function independently in a start-up environment – identify problems, pick them up, own them, and fix them.
